The general manager of the Philadelphia Eagles and an ESPN analyst will help Widener Law’s Sports and Entertainment Law Association kick off its annual daylong conference on hot topics in sports, television, film, music and ethics.
The event Thursday, Feb. 16 on the law school’s Delaware campus will begin with the panel discussion, “Sports law in hindsight: A dissection of the NFL lockout,” featuring Howie Roseman, Esq., general manager of the Philadelphia Eagles and Andrew Brandt, a sports business analyst with ESPN. Widener Law alumnus Christopher J. Cabott, Esq. ’05 of Zane Management Inc. in Philadelphia will moderate.
The conference, now in its seventh year, is presented by the student-run Sports and Entertainment Law Association under the direction of Widener Law Adjunct Professor Alexander Murphy. Murphy will moderate the three remaining panels.
